A Life Less Ordinary ..!!

Dawid Tomaszewki Spring/Summer 2012 collection was not only inspiring for me but was something that caught my eye on. Designer took his main inspiration from the 17th century painting. His latest collection S/S 2012 "Vanitas Flowers" which was presented in Berlin Fashion Week. 


The Polish Designer dealt with the subject of caducity and death. He has been a name to watch over the few past seasons and this presentation certainly lived up to the buzz.


He merged the flowing chiffon dresses and classic men suits together into a symbiosis. Translucent flower designs were featured in short story of power and caductiy which was carried away in masses of silk and chiffon.

Go Green this Summer !!

Looks like the celebrities have prove Kermit the Frog wrong as the city is going green and its actually easy being green. Spotted the celebrities Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and many more.. 


Jil Sander and Louis Vuitton did it !! DKNY did it with soft ,variation of natural silk-crepe. Almost every designer showcased Green on Spring/Summer 2012 catwalks. Designer Pamella Protzel Scott at Ella Moss said 'Fall 2012 is about “LOVE MAGIC” — witches and warlocks, misty landscapes, love potions and dreamy skies set the mood for colors this season. Duck Green feels fresh and inspiring this fall — its rich intensity and boldness in color are a perfect complement to a casual or more dressed up wardrobe.'


Get going with Boldness of Green whether its Emerald, Mint or Garden green. It's a perfect time to spice up your closet !! I have created two looks, for day and for night below..

 

Be Fabulous and Trendy Girl with Stripes this Season !!

Stripes!? of course, it's the repetitive trend, but still in Fashion all the time. As with Color blocking, Neon brights, Delicious candy pastel palettes, Head-to-toe prints, Leather for summer , Overlays and many more on going trends Strips are also one of the key trends this season, and have been seen all over the catwalk.
Summer Stripes !! what a bright time to bring out a Fantastic pair of sunglasses, bold gold jewelry, summer hat and a side of Fashionable Stripes. Look around even further and you will see amazing handbags, shoes , makeup and even manicures with stripes.

I have always loved stripes and despite them being the 'the trend' every S/S, I wear them all year around. At the moment I love the different colored stripes that have come out, as opposed to the usual nautical style blue/navy and white.

There’s more to life than the pretty things. But not right now…

Today, When I first saw the S/S collections hitting the stores I wasn’t sure where my dressing loyalty would lie. It’s still summer here and I don’t see rain coming, it seems it’s Pastels vs. Neon. Oh ya !! my extreme love for neon colors when I see them, they make me crazy. And to be honest I get attracted towards this highlighter neon shades. It seems though I’ve come around and now I’m craving some neon goodness in my wardrobes. I love colors but, always end up getting black in my wardrobe so it would be nice to have a change and push my usual style.
